Full Time Faculty Position in Construction Management
JOB DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENTS:
• PhD Degree from an accredited university relevant to construction management. • Show commitment to excellence in independent research. • Show commitment to excellence in teaching, as in the relation with students and colleagues. • Research and teaching experience in some of the following areas:
o Lean construction, Last Planner System and Value Management, o Building Information Modeling and Integrated Project Delivery, o Production Planning and construction scheduling, o Discrete and integer applied optimization, o Discrete Simulation, o International management standards, guides, and methodologies, o Construction quality management, assessment and assurance, o Occupational safety and health in construction projects, o Innovation management in construction, o Analysis and cost control, o Industrialization, preconstruction, and standardization of construction processes, o Sustainable and waste management in construction,
Additionally, applicants should also have experience in the achievement of Research Projects with private sector and the possession of a well-developed international network of collaborators and alliances with other prestigious international universities and research centers.

Successful candidates will have to demonstrate excellence in publishing research documents in top peer reviewed journals, initiative and effective leadership skills with a strong commitment to highquality, collaborative, interdisciplinary, and globally competitive teaching and research.
Candidates will be expected to develop and maintain a vigorous, externally funded research program; teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels; supervise undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students; contribute to departmental and university administration; and support outreach activities.
