Three-Year Limited-Term Assistant Professorin Industrial Engineering

The University of Windsor invites applications for a three-year limited-term faculty position in the Department of Mechanical, Automotive and Materials Engineering in the area of Industrial Engineering at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing May 1, 2017. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
The primary focus of this position is that of teaching, rather than research, with the successful candidate expected to teach up to six courses across a range of topics within industrial engineeringbut preferably in statistical modeling and analysis of engineering systems; quality engineering and six sigma; operations research and queuing theory; manufacturing process diagnosis and control; service operations and supply chains. Applicants should hold a baccalaureate degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field and an earned doctorate in Engineering and should be registered or be able to register as a Professional Engineer in Canada.This normally requires an undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited/recognized university.
