Introduction

INL is seeking a highly qualified Systems Technician to join the ICS Unit - Infrastructure & Client Services.

Job Role & Key Responsibilities

As a Systems Technician you will take on a key role within the following responsibilities:

  • Support the IT operations infrastructure including implementation and management of the software and hardware infrastructure;
  • Cooperate in systems administration, including: general IT support, upgrades, Software installation, patching, license management, server set-up and management, network design and support, deployment of equipment and management of inventories.
  • Provide client services (Helpdesk, asset management, user management, overall support and training).


 

Job Requirements:

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate degree (preferable but not mandatory), equivalent in training, education or experience;
  • Relevant work experience in the function up to 4 years;
  • Technical proficiency on designing and implementing IT solutions;
  • Administration of servers and server OS;
  • Microsoft Systems (SQL Server, Lync, SharePoint, Exchange, FIM, AD);
  • VMware (View, ESXi);
  • EMC (Avamar, VNX Storage);
  • File and Print Servers;
  • Cisco Servers and Networking (Catalyst, Fabric, ASA firewall, UCS, Wireless Controller, Telepresence);
  • Quantum tape robot;
  • McAfee Context Security (Antivirus, Web and Email Gateway);
  • Network and Infrastructure monitoring (Nagios, Cisco Prime);
  • General computing knowledge for Helpdesk services (Microsoft, Mac, Linux).

  • Problem solving attitude.


Languages

  • English is the working language of INL. Upper advance level in oral and written English is required.
  • Working knowledge of another language is an advantage.
