Delivering action packed dynamic undergraduate and post graduate courses for a changing world the successful candidate will inspire students to develop their understanding and thinking to become industry leaders of the future.

 

Through our research-led teaching the post holder will work with an international team of experts who are open to collaborate on innovative and cross-disciplinary projects.

Candidates with a background of delivering education in engineering management and/or professional engineering practice, and who can also undertake teaching duties in core mechanical engineering subjects are encouraged to apply for this three year post.

 

The successful candidate must:

 

• Honours degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Aerospace or related Engineering subject

• Relevant teaching experience at university level.

• Ability to carry out scholarship in engineering education

• Experience of establishing and developing links with engineering companies based in the UK and Ireland.

Salary scale:   £35,550 - £38,833 per annum (potential to progress to £42,418 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution)
