Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Electrical/Electronic Circuits, UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Circuit Design) (Permanent)

Applications are invited for a permanent post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Electrical/Electronic Circuits (Circuit Design) within UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.


The person appointed will have a strong record of research and accomplishment in fundamental scientific areas underpinning micro-electronic circuit design with particular emphasis on monolithic radio frequency (RF), analogue, and mixed-signal circuit design of relevance to the School. It is also expected that the appointee will have the qualifications and experience to deliver high quality research-informed teaching and learning up to doctoral level, contributing to Bachelors and taught Masters degree programmes in Electronic Engineering. It is expected that the successful candidate will maintain an active research programme, publishing in leading international journals and conferences, and pursuing opportunities for research funding to support PhD students and post-doctoral researchers while participating fully in the programmes and academic activities of the School, College and University.


Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €52,325 - €82,267 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
