We are looking for a senior profile to start up and apply the applied mechanical research in this field on the campus in Geel. There will be at least one additional junior profile for this domain in the near future.

  • You develop activities of targeted scientific research that result in doctorates and publications that comply with international standards and that lead to broad international recognition.
  • You support or initiate a network of companies through the valorisation of research results and the execution of industrial services with the aim of strengthening industrial innovation.
  • You develop an international partnership around your research program, both within the academic world and with industrial partners.
  • You work closely with the members of Technologiecampus Geel and the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
  • You are capable of competing both project-based government financing and bilateral industrial financing
  • You strive for excellence in your research and thus contribute to the further development of the technology campus and the department.
  • You pay attention to the valorisation for government and industry in applied research.
