The role The successful appointee will be responsible for the formulation and execution of research to understand the influence of steel microstructure, steel composition and steel processing (inc. heat treatment) on the hydrogen embrittlement of advanced high-strength steels for auto construction.
The successful appointee will collaborate with the research team at UQ and collaborate with colleagues at Baosteel Ltd. China.
The person
You should have demonstrated expert knowledge in hydrogen embrittlement and the metallurgy of advanced high-strength steels.
