The USC School of Architecture invites applicants for a part-time faculty position in Architectural Photography for Fall 2024. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to teach technical seminar courses on the artistic, scientific, and architectural aspects of architectural photography. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of digital architectural photography as well as film techniques, including 4x5 large format cameras.

 

Candidates would be teaching at the undergraduate level. Classes are composed of graduate and undergraduate students from all disciplines with variable amounts of previous photography experience.

 

The core salary range for this position is $48.00 - $66.41 per hour. This is a part-time, 47.5% position.

Qualifications: A degree in photography is required; professional and/or teaching experience may substitute for degree requirement. Preference is given to candidates with a proven track record of professional architectural photography work and/or prior teaching experience at recognized schools of architecture.
