About This Opportunity
For a research project with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, we are investigating the interaction of pedestrians and motor vehicles at slip lanes for left turns at signalised intersections. Under supervision of the Chief Investigator (Professor Mark Hickman), the research assistant would be involved in primary data collection and data analysis to support the research project.
The Casual Research Assistant will provide technical research support and subject matter expertise in support of traffic engineering studies at all stages of the research life-cycle.

This is a casual position, approximately 18 hours per week expected to complete major project work through to June 2024.
The rate of pay will be $49.15 per hour, plus 11% Superannuation.
