Work­ing field:

Sci­entific ser­vices and col­lab­or­a­tion in research in the inter­dis­cip­lin­ary, cit­izen-sci­entific BMBF-fun­ded pro­ject "Research with chil­dren and young people on the res­id­en­tial qual­ity in mass hous­ing set­tle­ment", which is real­ized in cooper­a­tion with the CUD Chair for Urban Design and Urb­an­iz­a­tion (Prof. Stoll­mann). In par­tic­u­lar:
  • Estab­lish­ing con­tacts with chil­dren and young people,
  • Selec­tion of suit­able research meth­od­o­logy in a joint team,
  • Inde­pend­ent col­lab­or­a­tion and sup­port in the organ­iz­a­tion of the pro­ject,
  • Con­tact to pro­ject part­ners from the prac­tice,
  • Pre­par­a­tion and par­ti­cip­a­tion in joint work­shops and con­fer­ences,
  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in the archiv­ing of pro­ject data,
  • own con­tri­bu­tions to the pub­lic­a­tion of the research res­ults and reflec­tion in soci­ety.
The pro­vi­sion of this ser­vice also serves the sci­entific qual­i­fic­a­tion of the applic­ant. The pos­sib­il­ity of a doc­tor­ate is given.

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in the arts or social sci­ences or stud­ies in archi­tec­ture or plan­ning (mas­ter's degree, dip­loma or equi­val­ent) with a proven focus on real estate, urban or spa­tial research. Required is applic­a­tion know­ledge of cit­izen sci­ence research or par­ti­cip­at­ory plan­ning, prefer­ably with a focus on chil­dren and young people. Required is a very good abil­ity to express one­self in Ger­man and Eng­lish lan­guage and the will­ing­ness to work in the field together with the pro­ject part­ners on site. Exper­i­ence in team­work and the will­ing­ness to work closely together in a lar­ger inter­dis­cip­lin­ary team as well as ini­tial pub­lic­a­tion exper­i­ence are desired.
