Duties and responsibilities
  • Design, fabrication, and characterization of flexible systems by integrating microelectronics on flexible ionic electroactive polymer (IEAP) actuators for diagnostic medical technologies.
  • Finite Element Simulation (FEM) of CMOS-MEMS devices (pressure sensors, accelerometers, microphones, etc.) targeted for consumer electronics.
  • Design and Characterization of System-on-Chip (SoC) CMOS-MEMS devices (particularly, sensors).
  • Tape-out of SoC CMOS-MEMS devices.
Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience
  • Internationally recognized experimental and theoretical research in the field of microfabrication.
  • Successful supervision of master and doctoral students.
  • Experience in administrative/organisational work and management of projects, experience of industrial cooperation.

Required language skills
Excellent English. Estonian at least elementary level is an advantage.
