About the position

At the Department of Mathematical Sciences (IMF), a two-year substitute is available as a senior lecturer in full-time positions at a pre-course for engineering education starting 1 August 2019.

 

The position includes teaching and professional development in English and Norwegian or social studies on the course .

 

The person who is appointed will belong to the department's pre-group group. The student group is graduates from vocational education who, through the course, receive study law in engineering education.

 

Workplace will be Trondheim.

 

The position reports to the head of department.

 

Responsibilities

  • Teaching in English, and Norwegian or social studies
  • Participation in professional development on the course

 

Eligibility Requirements

 

For the position of senior lecturer, a master's degree or equivalent in English, Norwegian or social studies is required. Teaching competence is required in English and in at least one of the other two disciplines social studies or Norwegian. Relevant practical-pedagogical competence based on education or teaching and supervision will be emphasized.

 

Good oral and written presentation ability in Norwegian and English.

Salaries and terms

 

The position as teaching sector code 1009 is normally paid from gross NOK 435 500 - 524 200 per year. years depending on qualifications and seniority. From salaries, 2% of statutory deposits are withdrawn from the Government Pension Fund.  

 

The employment is carried out in accordance with the principles of the State Employees Act, and legislation regulating the export of knowledge, technology and services. After hiring, you must expect changes to the work area.
