Applicants with interests in one or more of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Applicants are expected to have received a doctorate degree in a relevant engineering or applied science discipline. Successful candidates will develop a vigorous, externally funded research program and maintain a strong, recognized publication record. They will be expected to contribute their leadership and innovative thinking toward promoting excellence in programs within the MAE department, school, and university and in time, to anchor center-type proposals that are home to MAE. They will be expected to facilitate the recruitment and success of students (especially those from underrepresented minorities) pursuing graduate degrees in related programs. Successful candidates will also provide outstanding teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and provide service and leadership within the MAE professional community at large.
