Qualified candidates must possess a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering field, with an outstanding record of research accomplishments as evidenced by high-impact scholarly publications and strong potential to attract external research funding. We are seeking an individual with professional ethics, strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues both within and outside the department. A successful candidate will be expected to: Develop an independent, externally funded research program Demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels Contribute to curriculum development Provide quality service to the department, the university, and the chemical engineering profession While applications in all areas of chemical engineering will be considered, candidates with expertise in computational chemical engineering—particularly in multi-scale modeling, molecular simulation, process optimization, data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning—are strongly encouraged to apply.
