The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick is inviting applications for the Limerick Chair (tenure track appointment) at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointment will be subjected to final budgetary approval, with a proposed start date of January 1, 2021.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline, along with a demonstrated ability to effectively teach the core curriculum of the Chemical Engineering program. The Limerick Chair will be part of the Dr. J. McKenzie Limerick Pulp and Paper Research Centre. The successful incumbent must demonstrate strong commitment to research related to pulp and paper manufacturing processes, and associated programs including forest biorefinery, green lignocellulosic materials, chemicals and products. The candidate must be eligible to register, or be registered, as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick Engineering.
