The Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department (http://ame.usc.edu) of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering (http://viterbi.usc.edu)  invites applications and nominations for a qualified and experienced part-time faculty to teach courses within the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering in the broad area of engineering design, mechanics, AI/ML for engineering applications,  and vehicle engineering and design.


Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Aerospace and/or Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent in a relevant field. Candidates must show a commitment to quality instruction, preferably through prior experience in teaching this, or closely related classes.  The USC Viterbi School of Engineering is committed to increasing the diversity of its faculty and welcomes applications from women, individuals from racial/ethnic populations underrepresented in engineering; veterans; and individuals with disabilities.


This is a part-time appointment effective Fall 2024, starting August 16, 2024. The core salary range for this position is $3,476.80 - $3,650.67 per unit. This is a part-time position.
