The goal is to improve the railway's conditions and competitiveness in freight and passenger traffic in order to be able to contribute to sustainable development in society. Trends in train travel are reflecting behavioral changes that in many cases go fast. One of the clear changes in recent years is the climate crisis, which has led to a change in valuations, with increased train travel and reduced air travel as a result.
