KTH Royal Institute of Technology, School of Engineering Sciences Job DescriptionThe Nuclear Science and Engineering (NSE) Division at KTH seeks an ambitious, motivated, and collaborative postdoctoral researcher to join the nuclear fuel materials team. The position focuses on studying the thermal stability and pellet–cladding mechanical and chemical interactions (PCMI and PCCI) of burnup-simulated doped UO₂ fuel (ADOPT™ SIMFUEL). This project is funded by the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority and conducted in collaboration with Westinghouse and Chalmers University of Technology. The successful candidate will lead research combining experimental and computational methods to evaluate the effects of fission products on the thermal and mechanical properties of Cr₂O₃ and Al₂O₃-doped UO₂.
