This exciting Fellowship opportunity is offered at an Academic Level A or B, integrated into the Dow Centre’s decarbonisation program, and will focus on advancing innovative strategies across diverse sectors. Key ResponsibilitiesResearchDrive interdisciplinary TEA/LCA research in decarbonisation at UQ, producing high-quality outputs, securing competitive funding, and collaborating on joint projects, while translating research into decision-support tools, policy and design insights, and commercial outcomes. Supervision and Researcher DevelopmentEffectively supervise Honours and HDR students by supporting researcher development and performance, and, where appropriate, manage research staff and resolve issues in line with University policies. Citizenship and ServiceDemonstrate UQ values through collaboration, support for colleagues, and participation in internal service and committees, while contributing to external service and building partnerships with industry, government, and the community. TeachingParticipate in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching as required, delivering high-quality teaching evidenced by student outcomes and surveys, and improving or innovating in response to feedback where appropriate. In Addition to the Above, Level B Will:Develop an independent and/or team-based research program with national recognition and impact, actively seek, obtain, and manage competitive research funding as a chief investigator, demonstrate effective supervision of Honours and HDR students, and facilitate engagement opportunities for HDR supervisees.
