The ideal applicant will have experience in genetically engineering bacteria and yeast, protein purification, enzymatic assays, and analysis of microbial fermentation products. Good organization, communication, and ability to work in a team setting are essential qualities. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, biology, biomedical engineering, or a related field. The initial appointment will be for a one-year period, with the possibility of an extension depending on performance and availability of funding.
