Position description The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Irvine has an occasional need for postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels I-IV) in the following research areas of the department, including but not limited to: Structures, geotechnics and materials, transportation systems engineering, hydrology and water resources systems, and environmental processes and energy systems. These positions require a Ph.D. in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field from an accredited university. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
