The Department of Electronics and Information and Communication Technologies in the Faculty of Applied Engineering is looking for a full-time (100%) doctoral scholarship holder in the field of renewable energy forecasting. PositionYou will work actively on the preparation and defence of a PhD thesis focusing on machine learning-based forecasting of renewable energy production, with a particular focus on wind energy. The research will be conducted within the VLAIO ICON NEXT-WIND project, which aims to develop next-generation forecasting methods combining machine learning weather prediction models with renewable energy production. The project seeks to improve the reliability and economic value of wind energy through advanced forecasting and decision-support tools. Your responsibilities will include:
