Work­ing field:

The research pro­ject in the field of product devel­op­ment meth­ods and pro­cesses in air­craft con­struc­tion aims at the search, struc­tural ana­lysis, syn­thesis and mod­el­ling of com­plex energy-effi­cient flight sys­tems dur­ing the concept design phase based on an exten­ded Advanced Mor­pho­lo­gical Approach (AMA) for Energy Effi­cient Engin­eer­ing Sys­tems (ES). The pre­vi­ous approaches of using the res­ults of struc­tured expert sur­veys and work­shops are to be fur­ther digit­al­ized and vir­tu­al­ized and sup­ple­men­ted by stat­ist­ical approaches in the inter­pret­a­tion of res­ults. The applic­a­tion focus will be on the design and mod­el­ing of energy effi­cient flight vehicles in all cat­egor­ies.

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity stud­ies (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in aerospace engin­eer­ing, mech­an­ical engin­eer­ing or equi­val­ent engin­eer­ing sci­ences
  • In-depth know­ledge and exper­i­ence in air­craft design
  • Know­ledge of product devel­op­ment meth­ods and pro­cesses in air­craft devel­op­ment
  • Know­ledge of stat­ist­ics and cor­rel­a­tion ana­lysis
  • Soft­ware skills: C (Visual C), Delphi, Python or equi­val­ent, Microsoft Office applic­a­tions
  • Good Eng­lish and Ger­man lan­guage skills in spoken and writ­ten (min. B1)

Desir­able:
  • Exper­i­ence in good sci­entific work
  • Exper­i­ence in pro­ject man­age­ment and work­shop organ­iz­a­tion
  • Rus­sian lan­guage skills
  • social skills: Abil­ity to work in a team, reli­ab­il­ity, inde­pend­ent work­ing, com­mu­nic­a­tion skills
