Research Assist­ant - salary grade E 13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

under the reserve that funds are gran­ted - part-time employ­ment may be pos­sible

 

Work­ing field:

  • Ana­lysis and eval­u­ation of post-quantum crypto-algorithms
  • research in the area of hybrid sig­na­tures, in par­tic­u­lar secur­ity ana­lysis
  • imple­ment­a­tion of crypto-algorithms in soft­ware and hard­ware
  • thread ana­lysis of post-quantum crypto-algorithm imple­ment­a­tion regard­ing hard­ware and side-chan­nel attacks

 

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in the field of com­puter sci­ence, math­em­at­ics or any related field
  • flu­ency in at least one pro­gram­ming lan­guage
  • know­ledge of cryp­to­graphy
  • full Eng­lish work­ing pro­fi­ciency
  • team work
 
Desired skills:
  • Know­ledge of post-quantum cryp­to­graphy
  • Know­ledge in the ana­lysis of algorithms
  • exper­i­ence with open-source soft­ware
  • exper­i­ence with hard­ware pro­gram­ming
  • know­ledge of hard­ware secur­ity
  • Ger­man work­ing pro­fi­ciency
