The post in part of project "Sensing Beyond Barriers" The key idea here is to exploit a co-design between hardware and algorithms to go beyond conventional barriers in digital data acquisition. The purpose of the post is to carry out research programmes in developing mathematical models, devising efficient algorithms and benchmarking the algorithms on experimental data (wherever applicable). Other aspects of the post include undertaking project management, collaborate with academic and industry partners and/or supervise multi-disciplinary teams. In addition, the Research Associate will be expected to submit publications to refereed journals and to attract external research funding. Duties and responsibilitiesDuties include:
Essential requirementsCandidates must hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Wireless Communications and Signal Processing or a closely related or equivalent research or industrial experience. Further information*Candidates who have not yet been awarded their PhD will initially be appointed at the Research Assistant level within the salary range £35,477 - £38,556 per annum.
