Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 year in the first instance.

Applications are invited for one 1-year post-doctoral research associate positions in the group led by Professor Clare P. Grey to work on new anode materials.

Applicants must have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in inorganic/materials chemistry or other related areas. A strong expertise in both electrochemistry and solid-state NMR spectroscopy is essential. Previous experience in either working in lithium-ion batteries or related technologies (including the characterisation of batteries or relevant electrochemical processes) is essential. Strong track record in materials characterisation is desirable. Strong proven track-record of publication in relevant fields is essential. Demonstrated ability to work in teams is desirable.
