A research team initiated by Republic Polytechnic is seeking to employ a full-time research staff for a duration of 12 months to work in a research project in the field of Lithium ion battery materials. You will be involved in developing a high performance additive which can improve the dispersion quality of electrode slurry effectively.


The job scope is as follows:

  • Work on Additives for Electrode Slurry of High Performance Lithium Ion Battery project.
  • Evaluate and improve the Lithium ion battery performance with additives for electrode slurry.
  • Interact with industrial collaborator and Final Year Project students regularly.
  • Assist the Principal Investigator to fulfil the required project deliverables.
  • Assist in purchasing process of products and services in line with Republic Polytechnic’s procurement guidelines.


  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Specific experience in Lithium ion battery fabrication and testing is strongly desired.
  • Ability to work independently, has strong interest, excellent initiative, good communication skill, creative, innovative.
